The whole lake is a big natural gym. And there are many opportunities tomake some unusual experiences!
For water sports lovers it is possible to spend entire days sailing or kayaking, windsurfing and motor boating, water skiing and canoeing, wakeboarding and kitesurfing. In Como there is even a hydroplane piloting school.
The Northern part of the lake is particularly suited to sailing disciplines because of the constant wind that blows there. Especially in Dervio where there are three sailing centres, windsurfing school and an area for kitesurfing which organises international competitions.
Lezzeno is renowned for its water ski schools, where world famous champions have trained, while the first lake basin hosts prestigious international motorboat races, among which there was even a Formula 1 world championship race.
