Mount San Martino, with its spectacular vertical walls that rise above the city, is part of the Grigne mountain group and is one of the peaks that surround the city of Lecco. With its 1474 meters above sea level, it stands northward the city and, for being located directly next to the lake, it offers very scenic hiking trails.

An ideal destination for lovers of climbing, Mount San Martino has several trails, most of which are challenging  for the sudden transition from 200m above sea level of Lecco to the 1400 of its peak after which there is the location of Piani Resinelli.
